Prince's Jehovah Witness Beliefs Not For His Fans

When Prince, now a devoted Jehovah’s Witness, goes door-to-door to spread the good news, he’d prefer his fans to focus on the latest copy of the Watchtower instead of him. “Sometimes fans freak out," he told USA Today. “It might be a shock to see me, but that's no reason for people to act crazy, and it doesn't give them license to chase me down the street.”

Lonely Jennifer Aniston Doing It By The Beach

The eternally unlucky in love Jennifer Aniston has once again fled to her favorite destination, Mexico, in an effort to get her head together. Why does she keep ending up with guys who treat her like she's not a beautiful star of television and film?

But wait, what’s this? Jen has recently been spotted on the Mexican shore with an unnamed older man. And there's always this younger guy in the karate uniform. Maybe remaining in Mexico is what's necessary to fill that really needy hole in her heart. Step one might be ditching that cover-up she's sporting. This isn't an Amish beach.

Britney Spears' Boyfriend To Dish Sex Tape

Before Britney Spears got her life back on track, she rarely left the side of her then-boyfriend, paparazzo Adnan Ghalib. Some feared that the match-up was an attempt on the part of the lensman to take advantage of an embattled Britney. Given Adnan’s latest scheme, it looks like he’s out to prove his detractors right. While speaking to the U.K.’s Heat magazine, Adnan admitted that he not only owns a sex tape featuring the “Toxic” singer, but he plans to sell it as soon as an acceptable offer comes along.

“There is such a tape, but I won’t discuss prices for hypothetical inquiries,” he said. “Unless there is a locked-in deal, I will go no further.”Oh, and lest anyone suspect he’s out to exploit his ex — beyond peddling a skin flick for big bucks — Adnan also told Heat, “I am not interested in selling out any other details about Britney.”

Janet Jackson Admitted Into Hospital

A representative for Janet Jackson says the singer has been hospitalized after falling ill shortly before a concert. According to statement released by W&W Public Relations, the singer canceled her concert in Montreal on Monday after she "got suddenly ill" during her sound check and had to be rushed to the hospital just before show time.

The statement says Jackson is being monitored at the hospital and hopes to reschedule the show. No further information was given about Jackson's condition.A phone call placed to W&W after hours went unanswered, and a representative did not immediately return an e-mail seeking more information. Jackson, 42, is on a North American tour.
.....And FEW DAYS AGO IN NYC:
Janet Jackson enjoyed her boyfriend’s birthday bash at NYC’s Tenjune until he gave her a good reason to hightail it. It seems the party got a bit much for birthday boy Jermaine Dupri, who according to a Page Six spywitness, “vomited in Janet's lap.” Ew! The source added, “Ms. Jackson bolted out of the scene and sped off in her chauffeured Maybach.”

Fake Sarah Palin Rocks New York City

As the real Sarah Palin made her way to the Big Apple for her whirlwind "A Thousand Wasillas" tour , the New York Daily News sent its own version of the Alaska governor out on the streets for a dry run. Star-struck voters hounded her for autographs and pictures. One guy yelled: "You're hot! But I hope you lose." There was just one hitch: Our "Palin" was a fake! She was really a 29-year-old look-alike named Kristy Webb - and most people were fooled.

There's even a video, in which the impostor is denied an audience with fellow Palin parodist Tina Fey. My favorite faux-Palin quote: "I'm eating one of your husband's hot dogs." You might view this as a light-touch publicity stunt by the Daily News, but I suggest McCain take a closer look at his running mate's doppelganger. While the comedian, Kristy Webb, may have even less experience than Palin, her proximity to the United Nations building must to something for her foreign policy cred. Plus, if McCain were to drop Palin from the ticket in favor of Webb, at least he would have a running mate who really never did support the Bridge to Nowhere.

Nicole Kidman's Secret To Fertility

Nicole Kidman credits fertile water with pregnancy 1 hour, 39 minutes ago Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman said swimming in Australian Outback waterfalls may promote fertility and might have contributed to her unexpected pregnancy over the past year. The 41-year-old Aussie, who gave birth to daughter Sunday Rose in July, said she and six other women who swam in the waters of a small Outback town during production of the epic romance "Australia" fell pregnant. "I never thought that I would get pregnant and give birth to a child, but it happened on this movie," Kidman told The Australian Women's Weekly.

The actress also commented on the relatively diminutive size of her baby bump throughout her pregnancy. "I'm so lucky I'm so tall, so I carried small and also, I have to say, I had a birth that I was blessed with, a labor that was very good and a baby that was very good to me in that regard," said Kidman, who is married to country music crooner Keith Urban and has two adopted children with ex-husband Tom Cruise. "To be given this again is a beautiful thing. To have raised Bella and Connor since I was 25 and now to be able to do it again at 41 -- wow!", she concluded

Judge Favored P.Diddy In Mermaids Law Suit

If you don't want to get photographed topless wearing a mermaid costume, don't go to P. Diddy's star-studded White Party topless wearing a mermaid costume. So ruled Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Doris Ling-Cohan, who threw out a woman's $3 million suit claiming that Sean "P. Diddy" Combs and Vibe magazine violated her privacy rights by printing her picture in the magazine. The photo shows Maria Dominguez, a 28-year-old hedge-fund money manager, frolicking in a pool with two other scantily clad sirens with the caption "Mermaids Gone Wild."

Dominguez said she never gave anyone permission to take her picture at the party in East Hampton. Dominguez Dominguez (at left, 1st picture & right behind Diddy, Mary J. Blidge) said the publication of the picture showing her topless - with the exception of what appears to be a small starfish-shaped pasties - gave her "mental strain and distress and disturbance of peace of mind." It also caused "irreparable harm" to her "reputation, goodwill and to her person" and forced her to lose "certain business opportunities."

Combs' side scoffed at her lawsuit. "If you go to a party that has great public interest, and you see many, many photographers there taking many, many pictures - and you're scantily clad - odds are your picture will be taken," said the hip-hop honcho's lawyer, Jonathan Davis. "Sean Combs and his renowned annual White Party are subjects of tremendous public interest, attracting the steady attention of the public and many news organizations," the judge wrote. Dominguez's lawyer said his client has found the Vibe experience "devastating."

French First Lady's Turns Heads In New York City

French cruller Carla Bruni (seen here handshaking Mayor of New York) was one sweet sight everywhere she went in Manhattan yesterday, reported NYPost. The sexy model-turned-singer first performed her duties as France's first lady by attending meetings at the United Nations with her president hubby, Nicolas Sarkozy. She then left the world leaders to catch up on current events. After returning to her Upper East Side hotel for a quick rest and outfit change out of a demure, pinstriped skirt suit, she reappeared in the evening looking ready to turn plenty of heads.

One of the men in her sights was Mayor Bloomberg, to whom she gave dazzling smile as she entered an Appeal of Conscience Foundation event at The Waldorf-Astoria. Hizzoner couldn't contain himself, reaching out his hand from receiving line to greet her as she approached him wearing an above-the-knee, black dress that showed off her shapely legs. Bloomberg landed the foundation's Public Service Award; her husband took home its World Statesman prize.

Bruni and Sarkozy came to Manhattan for the UN session, where Sarkozy addressed world leaders on behalf of the European Union. But his wife has been the real star as she tooled around the city looking like a glamour queen.

Stone Loses Custody Case of Her Son

Actress Sharon Stone has lost the latest round of an ongoing battle to win custody of her eldest son. A San Francisco judge denied the Basic Instinct star's request for primary custody of the 8-year-old, who has been living with his father, Phil Bronstein. The judge ruled that Mr Bronstein's home was more stable and structured, reinforcing a 2007 decision to give the newspaper executive sole custody.

Ms Stone, who has two other adopted sons, retains visiting rights. The judge said the parents should consult with each other before enrolling their child in any tutoring activities. He added that Ms Stone's telephone number should be programmed into Roan's mobile and home telephones.

Gary Coleman In Legal Trouble

Gary Coleman has been sued by a man who claims the actor punched him and ran into him with his truck in the parking lot of a Utah bowling alley, causing knee, back, and neck injuries. Colt Rushton, 24, of Spanish Fork says he and Coleman argued early September after he began taking pictures of the "Diff'rent Strokes" actor with a cellphone.
--

Coleman, 40, was charged with misdemeanor reckless driving and disorderly conduct. In the civil lawsuit, Rushton said Coleman's bodyguard, Paul Rohbock, told Rushton he would have to pay $20 per picture if he continued taking photos. Rushton's attorney, Dustin Lance, said Rushton stopped taking pictures, but when he later saw Coleman in his truck close to the steering wheel, he thought it was funny and took another shot.

--

The lawsuit contends Rushton was attacked from behind by Rohbock or Coleman's wife, Shannon Price, and his cellphone was taken away. It also contends Coleman punched Rushton in the chest several times. Coleman could not be reached for comment yesterday.
