And Miss Universe 2008 Crown Goes To...

80 beauties from various countries participated in 57th annual Miss Universe [2008] competition which just ended in Vietnam. There could be only one winner and that crown went to Miss Venezuela, Dayana Mendoza. She is a 22 years-old interior designer who has passion for photography and advertising.

The judging panel included Donald Trump Jr., Jennifer Hawkins, and Jerry Springer. Their decision based on three event categories: personality test, swimsuit and night gown. The outgoing 2007 queen, Riyo Mori of Japan, crowned her successor with estimated worldwide viewers of about a billion. Some of the contestants are below including the Mendoza first:
