Moving on from criminal ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri, Anne Hathaway said she is crushing on a new mystery man, according to People. "This guy I know in L.A. is kind of doing it for me right now," the actress told source at the London premiere for her newest movie, Rachel Getting Married. "When I think of sexy, I think of him. You know when sometimes you don't know someone very well, you'll probably never see them again, but you just meet them and you're like 'WOW, you really have it going on'?"

But the actress cautions that things haven't gotten serious yet. "I'm totally single right now," says Hathaway, who wore a blue Zac Posen gown and Bulgari jewels to the premiere, which was part of the BFI 52nd London Film Festival. "But I happened to meet a sexy guy the other day. It might be my hardest role to date to keep my cool."

There were conversations afterwards, but the relationship was absolutely done," she told Letterman. However, the actress, 25, is moving on from her breakup by shedding her old self.

"I quit smoking," Hathaway said. "I quit for a while and then it was a stressful summer and started smoking again. But I just quit." Hathaway says her public breakup was the perfect time to make other changes in her life. "I quit drinking and I also gave up meat and fish and fun," she said. Despite all the heartache, Hathaway assures she is doing fine. "I'm very happy. I'm in a good place."

The handsome, smooth-talking Italian faced a suggested sentence of between 51 and 63 months in federal prison under the proposed plea agreement for wire fraud and money laundering, said his lawyer, Flora Edwards. The Post recently revealed Follieri was in plea talks. Authorities nabbed him in June, a week after Hathaway, 25, ended their relationship. Plea discussions hit a snag when Follieri - who is jailed in lieu of $21 million bail - balked at the idea of doing his sentence in an American prison, a source said. "The one glitch in this thing was that he was insisting on serving his sentence in Italy," the source said. "He was demanding to serve his time in Italy, and [prosecutors] said, 'You're out of your mind.' "

But that hearing was postponed until this morning after Manhattan federal prosecutors realized they had scheduled the wrong judge.Follieri came to America in 2003 with ambitious schemes and claims of top Vatican connections. He reportedly became friendly with Bill Clinton's aide, Douglas Band, which enabled him to climb into the former president's social orbit.Burkle, a friend of Clinton's, originally agreed to put up $55 million to bankroll Follieri's plans to buy and develop properties of Catholic dioceses in America.

Hathaway's spokesman said the actress would have no comment.But in a new interview in W magazine, Hathaway revealed "as soon as I found out about the arrest, I had to get on a plane to Mexico to do a press tour for 'Get Smart.' And then I spent a week in shock at a friend's house."Hathaway said she has been staying at a pal's downtown home since moving out of Follieri's pad. "I have to find a place to live," she told W. "It's a situation where the rug was pulled out from under me all of a sudden. But just as suddenly, my friends threw another rug back under me."

"The worst thing that happens to you can be the best thing for you, if you don't let it get the best of you," notes Hathaway. As for what she's looking for in a beau, besides honesty and an inability to emote on cue, she says, "The goal is to find someone you can be yourself around, who makes you laugh, who challenges you in a good way, and where you just spark off each other."
