Ellen DeGeneres Cries Over Wedding Dress

Ellen DeGeneres admits she turned on the waterworks at the sight of her lover, Portia de Rossi,in her pale pink wedding dress. "I cried when I saw her, because we didn't want to see our outfits beforehand," the newlywed swoons to Newsweek. "Actually, I could cry right now thinking about it. I never thought I would have that experience of getting married. I didn't think I was missing anything. I just didn't think about it."

But the affable talk show host says "to see her for the first time and to cut a wedding cake, that was surreal for me and I got to experience that with our families around us. I didn't realize how special it was until I did it." When asked how the Aug. 16 ceremony, which took place at the couple's Beverly Hills estate, differed from a straight wedding, Ellen quipped, "Well, the food is gay. The water is gay. There's a gay vibe."

No More Babies for the Beckhams

David Beckham once told Ellen DeGeneres that he and wife Victoria are working hard on giving their 3 sons Brooklyn, 9, Romeo, 5, and Cruz, 3 another sibling, but their family planning is currently in a holding pattern. "I can't even think about having another baby right now. The boys take up so much of my time," said Victoria to the London Daily Mirror while promoting her new perfume, Signature. "Life is busy in L.A. because Brooklyn's got football, Romeo's got gymnastics and Cruz has break-dancing. Plus, they have school commitments. They start school again next week so we all have to go uniform shopping now." The Beckhams also have no plans to join the celebrity adoption brigade. "We really respect people who go through adoption," explains Vicky, "but it's not something we have considered as we have our hands full with the three children.”

DeGeneres, 50, and de Rossi, 35, both wore Zac Posen and exchanged rings by Neil Lane during the Saturday ceremony. Their big day also featured arrangements by L.A. florist Mark's Garden. The intimate ceremony was attended by 19 guests, including DeGeneres's mom Betty and de Rossi's mother Margaret Rogers (who flew in from Australia for the occasion), who witnessed the couple exchange handwritten vows.

The couple has been dating since December 2004. The marriage is mad e possible due to California lifting the band on gay marriage.

In latest Forbe’s list of the highest-earning media personalities (below); Oprah Winfrey already a billionaire, made the fattest bucks for 2007. We should remember that she brought Dr. Phil into the Millionaires Club. Evidently, this shows any person Oprah touches could turn gold: the doc made it to an envy position of # 4 beating the vets like Regis Philbin and others.

What really monumental about Oprah's earnings is that her income alone is more than the sum of 8 others A- listers combined, with exception of Howard Stern.

Although, Tyra Banks has been in denial that she got inspired by Oprah. But she appears to be coming high. We would see if she can accomplish something closer, years from now.

And in Hollywood, Will Smith and Cameron Diaz top the movie stars by taking home $80 and $50 million respectively.
