Ok repoted today that Amy Winehouse could be days from death after spotting her staggering home from a london local pub. The drug-raddled singer is 25 but appeared haggard, filthy and painfully thin as she turned up two hours late for a stint as a DJ. She was so weak and frail, she struggled to walk unaided as she left the Monarch Pub in Camden, north London, in the early hours of yesterday. She had to be supported by minders and friends.

Now fans and friends fear she may go berserk this weekend during her birthday celebrations. Amy was diagnosed with the early stages of emphysema earlier this year. And in June she was warned by doctors: "Quit drugs or die.” But it did not look like she had followed their advice as she blundered through her DJ set. At one point, she even claimed how pleased she was that husband Blake Fielder Civil, 26, was “out of jail”. He is still inside for assault and perverting justice and is unlikely to be freed until December at the earliest. Perhaps, "rehab is the only place this bitch-ass belong.

West Got Out Of Jail After Arrest

Singer/rap Kanye west has made bail after he and one of his bodyguards were arrested Yesterday at Los Angeles International Airport after an altercation with paparazzi in which the rapper allegedly smashed a $10,000 camera on the floor. E! reports the rap star has posted $20,000 bail and had a court date set for October 2nd. Kanye was held for felony vandalism charge.

The incident happened before West and his bodyguard passed a security checkpoint at an airport terminal that houses American Airlines. The pair were scheduled to board a flight to Honolulu, Hawaii. The arrest was first reported by TMZ, which posted video showing a man in a gray hooded sweatshirt, identified by the celebrity gossip site as West. The man throws a camera to the ground. Another man in a red jacket grabs the shooter holding the video camera. The next frames show security intervening. TMZ reported that it was its videographer who was attacked.

West closed the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night, which was held at Paramount Studios lot in Hollywood. The singer has a history of flaring his temper. After not winning any awards at the VMAs in 2007 despite several nominations, West declared he would never return to MTV and yelling at reporters. The year before, he crashed the stage at the MTV Europe Music Awards and unleashed an expletive-filled tirade after his video "Touch The Sky" failed to win an award.

All White Jury For O.J.

The prosecutors revealed in court yesterday that no blacks were on the jury picked for O.J. Simpson try which begins on Monday. Defense attorneys had argued the prosecutors were deliberately trying to exclude blacks, but Judge Jackie Glass (inset photo) denied their challenges - in the case against Simpson and a co-defendant, Clarence Stewart. Prosecutors say Simpson and five other men stormed into a Las Vegas hotel room on September 13, 2007 to recover sports memorabilia that Simpson said belonged to him. Prosecutors say at least two men with Simpson had guns as they robbed a pair of sports memorabilia dealers.

If convicted on all counts, Simpson faces a possible sentence of life in prison. He has pleaded not guilty and has told CNN he was trying to get his property back. Four of five Simpson's original co-defendants have struck deals with the prosecution to testify against Simpson. One testified in a pre-trial hearing that "O.J. Simpson wanted me to have a weapon." Another testified that Simpson "wanted me to help him acquire some guns.” An attorney for Simpson, Yale Galanter, has disputed that."O.J. Simpson did not know that there were guns in that room."

Prosecutors say the scammer paid for an extravagant lifestyle with "Get Smart" actress Hathaway, instead of using the money for his stated purpose of redeveloping Catholic Church properties.

The handsome, smooth-talking Italian faced a suggested sentence of between 51 and 63 months in federal prison under the proposed plea agreement for wire fraud and money laundering, said his lawyer, Flora Edwards. Plea discussions hit a snag when Follieri - who is jailed in lieu of $21 million bail - balked at the idea of doing his sentence in an American prison, a source said. "The one glitch in this thing was that he was insisting on serving his sentence in Italy," the source said. "He was demanding to serve his time in Italy, and [prosecutors] said, 'You're out of your mind.' "

According to BBC: Kenyan police have stepped up security in the village of US presidential candidate Barack Obama's grandmother, after a break-in at her home. The police believe the thieves were trying to steal a solar panel from Sarah Hussein Obama's tin roof.Four people have been arrested and patrols increased around Alego-Kogello village, 60km (37 miles) from Kisumu. The Illinois senator is a local hero in his father's homeland, where a local beer has been named after him. Correspondents say bottles of Senator are now referred to as "Obama" in honour of the Democratic party presidential hopeful. The robbery occurred on Wednesday night, when thieves broke down the kitchen door.

The CD, out Nov. 11, will feature two new songs as well as rerecorded versions of two other hits, "Genie in a Bottle" and "Beautiful."

And to NYDN, yesterday another a small Valentina boutique in Brookfield, Wis, also sued Vernita Lee, saying she owes the store $156,000 for purchases and interest and failed to make the minimum monthly payment of $2,000 on her charge account. Lee said she doesn't feel she owes them the money. But six years ago, John Kowske had to take Lee to court in Milwaukee, where she lives, after she failed to pay him the $4,304.90 she owed him, according to papers posted on webofdeception.com. "Vernita was a co-signer on a loan for her daughter Pat," a source tells us. "Sadly, Pat died of a drug overdose." A judge ordered Lee to pay the debt, according to the papers.

A spokeswoman for Harpo Productions would not comment as to whether Winfrey will pay off her mother's alleged debt. Alec Baldwin Keeps His Foot In His Mouth

Alec Baldwin's mouth continues to get him into trouble. For the last few days, the volatile "30 Rock" actor has been trading barbs with Greg Garcia, the creator of "My Name Is Earl." It all started with the New Yorker's epic profile of Baldwin. In the piece, he discussed what he deemed NBC's failure to promote the terrific Tina Fey-helmed sitcom and claimed the network has "gone out of their way to wring the last drops out of 'My Name Is Earl' and 'Scrubs.' Those shows are done! They're cooked! Yet they do a one-hour episode of 'Earl.'"

That didn't sit well with Garcia, who told Defamer.com that Baldwin "sounds like a psychotic narcissist" and pointed out that the reason why NBC "occasionally puts on an hour-long episode of 'Earl' is because an hour of 'Earl' gets better ratings than an 'Earl' followed by a '30 Rock.' It's called math, stupid." Over to you, Alec: "My apologies to the cast and crews of 'My Name Is Earl' and 'Scrubs,'" he wrote on the Huffington Post. "In my frustration with NBC's reprehensible promotion of '30 Rock,' I took an unfortunate swipe at both of those shows and that was not cool." 

Unable to leave it there, Baldwin adds, "But, for Earl's creator, Greg Garcia, who referred to me as a 'psychotic,' I have only one question. Why are you Scientologists always rendering these medical opinions you aren't qualified to give?"

As far as you being psychotic, anyone who thinks NBC wouldn't do everything they could to promote a great show like '30 Rock,' which they own, over a show like 'My Name is Earl,' which they don't, is a tad nutty."

O J Simpson Gets Support From The Judge as a Juror dismissed

As the jury selection begins. OJ Simpson was back in the dock yesterday, nearly 13 years after he was sensationally acquitted of murdering his wife. But it could take at least a week to select a jury that is not biased by the 61-year-old American Football star’s notoriety.

 However a prospective juror in tore into the disgraced O.J. bluntly declaring: "I felt he got away with murder!" Glaring directly at Simpson, the unidentified woman told prosecutors she believed O.J. is a self-absorbed celebrity who killed his ex-wife and her friend. "He chose to put himself in the public eye," she said. "He should be a little more self-conscious of his actions."

Asked if she could brush off O.J.'s past in judging the current case, the woman snapped: "I think as far as the first trial, I felt he got away with murder!" The woman was eventually dismissed for bias. Then the district Judge Jackie Glass told the court: “What happened then, happened then. “If you think you are going to punish Mr Simpson for what happened in 1995, this is not the case for you.” Simpson faces a life sentence if he is convicted of robbing two sports memorabilia collectors at gunpoint in a Las Vegas Hotel last September.

Obviously, the Goldman family and the prosecutors would not be happy with this.

Apparently the authority would never let likes of OJ sleeps. Hall of Famer O. J. Simpson was involved in another run-in with the law over the weekend. According to reports, he was pulled over by police for suspected driving under the influence.

The former NFL running back was traveling through Nevada alone this past weekend, when the cops stopped him on suspicion of drinking-and-driving. But the troubled star, who is on trial for armed robbery and kidnapping in Las Vegas on Monday, was found to have done nothing wrong and was allowed to go on his way.

Nevada Highway Patrol tropper Kevin Honea said Simpson was stopped between Jean and Las Vegas He added, "The guy was just driving. He did absolutely nothing wrong. But, we owe it to the safety of the public to check these things out."

Rocker Jon Bon Jovi Builds Home for the Underpriviledged

Jon Corzine, Newark Mayor Cory Booker and fashion designer Kenneth Cole and his wife, Maria Cuomo Cole, who runs Help USA, the nonprofit helping to build the units.

J.Lo and Marc Anthony Sued by a Folight Attendant

According to NYDN, Marc Anthony and wife Jennifer Lopez are named in a federal suit that claims their guard dog attacked a flight attendant on a private jet.Lopez had been flying solo in the personal injury suit filed last June in Brooklyn Federal Court, but Anthony is being added as a defendant after J.Lo's lawyer gave him up as the owner of the German shepherd guard dog, Manhattan lawyer William Cafaro said.

"I was told by her counsel that Marc Anthony was the registered owner of the dog," said Cafaro, who represents flight attendant Lisa Wilson. "The issue of who actually owns the dog will be determined in the course of the proceedings." Wilson wants $5 million in damages from Lopez and her company, Nuyorican Productions. The suit will be amended this week to include Anthony as a defendant.

Anthony and the dog, Floyd, accompanied Lopez on a Gulfstream IV flight from Republic Airport in Farmingdale, L.I., to Burbank, CA on July 3, 2006, Cafaro said. Court papers say Lopez warned Wilson, 40, a flight attendant for NetJets Inc., how to behave around the dog, court papers. An hour into the flight, Floyd lunged at Wilson as she walked past, "attacking her and biting her pant leg," the suit said. She fell, suffered a serious back injury and has been unable to work. Cafaro contends the dog's owners had a duty to put a muzzle or leash on Floyd, and to warn his client "to stay completely away from the dog." Lopez's lawyer, Marina Spinner, could not be reached for comment.

Amy Winehouse Approaching Brain Damage

Crackhead pop star Amy Winehouse may be suffering from brain damage brought on by drug overdoses, according to published reports. The singer has overdosed twice in the past 12 months, the first in August 2007 after a binge on crystal meth, heroin and cocaine. She was also hospitalized in July after a 36-hour marijuana marathon that left her in convulsions. Now doctors are worried that the most recent overdose has left her permanently disabled, according to Britain's Daily Mail newspaper. Winehouse has "displayed symptoms normally associated with schizophrenia," and has been warned that one more overdose will kill her.

When Winehouse was taken to the hospital in July, her father, Mitch, explained the emergency trip as a "bad reaction to medicine." That's false, said a friend of the "Rehab" singer. "Her father's 'explanation' for Amy's hospital dash in July was just simply untrue," the Winehouse pal said. "She had smoked an inhuman amount of hash which resulted in acute cannabis poisoning. You have to take a shit load of pot to to suffer that severe reaction. It is thought she had been smoking it for 36 hours.

"She is in need of years of psychiatry and medical treatment if she has a hope." The ailing star has also landed herself in legal trouble this weekend after backing out of a performance at the Rock En Seine festival in Paris. Winehouse was set to be the headlining act, but never left her home in London to attend, citing illness. Festival organizers stated on their Web site that they intend to pursue legal action.

In what appears to price for fame, a surprising revelation shows John McCain's running mate (here with here family pic), Alaska Gov. Sarah Plain’s 17-year-old unmarried daughter, Bristol, right, is five months pregnant. McCain's camp said the GOP presidential candidate knew about the pregnancy before he selected Palin.

McCain's aides said the pregnancy revelation was intended to quell rumors swirling on the Internet that Palin's infant son, Trig, is actually her daughter's. The Second picture shows Bristol holds her baby brother Friday as their mother is announced as McCain's running mate.

The news of Bristol's pregnancy comes just three days after Palin was introduced as McCain's vice presidential pick at a rally in Dayton, Ohio. She is the first Republican vice presidential candidate who is not a white man. She met McCain only once before the Arizona senator asked her to be his ruining mate.

However, McCain's opponent Barack Obama contends that this is a private matter and warns that any body in his campaign that make issue out of Palin's family drama would be fired.

James Gandolfini aka Tony Saprano and Deborah Lin got married over the weelend ceremony in Honolulu, according toPeople magazine. The 46 year old star of The Sopranos and the 40 year-old model were in the bride's hometown, with a group of closest friends and family attended the ceremony, in which the bride and groom exchanged vows in a setting of white lilies and rhododendrons.

Lin walked down the aisle in an Italian lace gown. Gandolfini's son Michael from an earlier marriage was his best man. Following the elegant 20-minute nuptials, the newlyweds stepped into a white stretch limousine bound for the evening reception at a nearby resort, the magazine reported. The couple have been engaged since 2007.
