Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears coming together

Here is the gist touting a planned duet between Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake. The New York Post believes the long-ago exes will record a song for her forthcoming album, which she recently told OK! is her "best work ever." This time last year, the paper reported that a mid-meltdown Brit torpedoed the duet by blowing off a recording session at producer Timberlake’s Virginia Beach studio.

Meanwhile, when not trying to get her career back on track, Spears is apparently arranging celebrity playdates for sons Sean Preston and Jayden James, who turn three and two, respectively, next month. Paparazzi snapped the tykes playing with Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale's son Kingston outside the shaped-up, sugar-ditching popster's Beverly Hills house on Wednesday (seems they're neighbors). There were plenty of eyes watching over Brit and the boys, including her mom, Lynne, and assorted nannies and minders, all of whom followed closely as Kingston and Sean took turns cruising in a toy Escalade.
