Lindsay Lohan's gradual transformation from perpetual wagon-falling tabloid staple to road-to-recovery-traveling inamorata of Samantha Ronson got another boost last week. According to E! News, she gave a radio station a buzz on Thursday to support fundraising efforts for Childrens Hospital Los Angeles. "I wanted to call and send my love," explained the starlet, who not only made a plea for donations ("These children need it, and it can save lives") but also pledged to give a young cancer patient she'd met during an earlier visit to the hospital a high-fashion makeover for the facility's forthcoming "prom."
